In the quiet town of Mansfield, Ohio, a young talent was born – Yung Lonn. An only child, he spent his early years immersed in the world of basketball, traveling the globe with various AAU teams. Determined and resilient, Yung Lonn embarked on a solo career, aiming to bring his new brand, Self Made Music Group, to the mainstream. His path took an unexpected turn in 2022 when he suffered a stroke, forcing him to pause and focus on his health. But Yung Lonn’s spirit remained unbroken. Now, two years later, he’s back with a powerful new album, aptly titled “The Stroke Couldn’t Kill Me.”
This album is a testament to his perseverance and passion. Among the standout tracks are “Sober” and “Big Dog,” each showcasing his unique style and lyrical prowess. “Sober” delves into themes of clarity and resilience, while “Big Dog” is a bold anthem of self-confidence and triumph.
